How do you build your customer interaction? There are a myriad of ways to do so, but today we will focus on social engagement through mobile marketing and mobile applications.

A social mobile app can be optimized to build customer bases and trick your customers into helping you expand your brand and name. How?

First, we must address what make a social application. The best social apps are ones that depend on users/friends to interact with other users/friends and that these interactions make for a positive experience. It may seem inconsequential, but this hopefully positive experience is a way to rapidly spread your app to your users and their friends.

Another easy way to make an app social is to link it with social platforms. For example, using Facebook Connect allows users to find their friends on your app. Instantly, this makes your app more social and allows you to interact with others for a positive user experience. Also, Facebook Connect allows you to track the user and user's friend's information. Pretty handy for you, right?

How about 'Share' buttons? For example, if you play a game and get a high score, you can share that score on your Facebook account. Instagram has optimized the 'share' button. After you take your picture, you can share it on Facebook and Twitter. This is a great way to get exposure for your brand and obviously create a more social app.

As social media evolves, so too will your mobile apps. Focus on what you want your users to achieve by using your app and how to create meaningful interactions. If you can utilize these tips, you are well on your way to creating a social mobile app!
