Plain and Simple: How to Attract More Website Traffic

Many organizations engage in social media networks and revolve their marketing campaigns around them. However, what good is your best content if no one reads it?

It is important to reach your customers and provide them with compelling copy that is of value to them. You and your organization must provide copy that benefits them.

Customers don't want to hear about your awards or constantly be reminded of what you sell. Provide them with valuable insight, though, and they will come back to your site.

Be up front. No one wants to wade through useless information. Your main point should be in the first or second paragraph. This gives the reader or viewer the opportunity to quickly find what your article is about and choose if they want to continue reading.

Also, it is important to use simple, engaging words. People don't know your business like you do, so don't clout your copy with jargon they won't understand. If you follow these tips you can increase your web traffic.

Eric Gruber, author for marketingscoop.com, expands on the above advice. He provides seven tips to improve your website's content appeal. He explains common mistakes we copywriters make and how to fix them. Check out the full article below.
